Aspex Gallery solo show - preview tonight
My first big solo Gallery show, as winner of the Aspex 2010 Student Award, opens tonight from 6pm at Aspex in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. The show presents work from themes of visual identity and civilization, and includes my pride and joy, The Scroll of Britain concertina book. Entry is free, and the exhibition will be on display until the 20th of March.
Chichester Harbour News & Guide
Over the weekend I received another pleasant surprise, a copy of the 2011 Chichester Harbour News and Guide containing an article on the World War II Apuldram airfield that I produced three illustrations for. Head to the commissions page for more: http://www.mushroominthebox.com/page3.htm
A new map of the Road Trip in California
Here's a couple of pictures of my latest project, a map showing the route me and three friends will journey in and around the gold coast this month. Produced as a digital print of a hand drawn map and a limited run of screen prints, these will find their way into the hands of those lucky enough to stumble into our path whilst in the USA.
In Darklight album release
I've just received my copy of In Darklight's debut album "Dying to Confess" in the post, a long awaited moment not simply for their fantastic music, but for finally getting to see the completed digipack that I designed!
imagineFX feature
Just been to the shops and picked up september's issue of imagineFX which has a short news item featuring my Macmillan Prize Highly commended book "The Scroll of Britain"
